Welcome to the Nest, Highlands Hawks!
On behalf of the Highlands PTA, I am absolutely thrilled to welcome you to the 2026-2027 school year and our wonderful school community! My name is Ashley Thornton, and I am honored to be your PTA President this year. I have two sons, a 3rd grader and a kindergartener, so I am right there with you in all the school-year excitement! Our PTA Board is geared up and ready to partner with you to make this school year meaningful and unforgettable.

- Join the conversation: Join our monthly meetings on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM.
Come hang out in the library or pop into the Zoom room! Our meetings are collaborative, efficient, and genuinely fun. Every meeting features live updates from our principal and teachers, a transparent look at PTA projects, and open floor time for your brilliant ideas.
Creating Magic Together: Events & Volunteering
The PTA collaborates closely with school leadership to fund and launch the vital programs that bring our school to life. This year, the Highlands Executive PTA Board has engineered a calendar packed with dynamic, family-friendly events designed to spark joy and bring us closer together! To bring these incredible experiences to life, we need your unique energy and talents. We invite you to champion our Hawks this year by:
- Fueling our mission: Participating in our targeted fundraising efforts.
- Lending your superpowers: Joining a committee or volunteering for a specific event.
